Food Freaks Grilled Cheese Truck
There is a magical, bright yellow food truck at Fort Greene park that specializes in organic grilled cheese. They have fresh, local ingredients which make the prices around $5-8, but they’re seriously the best you can get when you’re tired of making your own! They also have amazing sides such as caramelized brussel sprouts! They’re parked on the sidewalk outside the park almost every day in the afternoon and are a great pit stop on your walk to Target! Plus the guys are total cuties ;)

Pushkin Creperie
Pushkin is such a great place to get some really good Crepes.  I went to France last year and these Crepes taste exactly the same as the ones I got from a café in Paris.  They are so close to campus (located across the street from the Pratt store)!  If you want to go somewhere where the people are really nice and have great food.  The price is reasonable too, only around $5-10! I would suggest, if you are looking for something sweet, the Nutella and Banana Crepe.

Thai 101
My comfort food is anything Thai and I’m pretty sure Thai 101 knows my order by heart. Only 2 or 3 blocks from campus (on Myrtle with 5 Spot and Bank of America), it’s easy to grab a bite for lunch or have a delivery for dinner. The inside is small but cozy with nice waiters, reminding me of my home Thai spot. They offer all the familiar soups, curries, noodles, etc for around $5-10 and the portions are just the right size. I would highly suggest trying the Tofu Tod, Papaya Salad, Musaman Curry, or Pad Se Yil!

Castro’s
Castro’s Mexican Restaurant is great food and easy access from the Pratt Campus (right across the street form Myrtle Hall).  The Burritos are so good you defiantly get your monies worth.  The price is around $10-15 per meal but there are some less expensive options on the menu.  They also have great service and you feel like family.
